MATTAWAN, October 27,
2006: With its recent acquisition
of Exygen Research, MPI Research, a leader
worldwide in preclinical drug discovery
and development research, will have an
expanded presence at the Annual Meeting
and Exposition of the American Association
of Pharmaceutical Scientists. At the meeting,
being held October 29 – November
2, 2006 in San Antonio, Texas, attendees
can visit MPI Research in booths 985 and
1546. Booth 985 will focus on the entire
scope of services that are available at
MPI Research, which supports research programs
from drug discovery through regulatory
submission. At booth 1546, our newly enhanced
range of analytical services, which includes
160 talented professionals dedicated solely
to analytical research, 60,000 square feet of analytical
laboratory space, and 38 LC-MS/MS systems,
will be featured.
Additionally, MPI Research analytical chemist
Ed Kaiser will be presenting a poster session
on “Development and Validation of
a Method for the Determination of Potassium
in Human Urine.” William Harrison,
President and COO of MPI Research says, ”The
AAPS is a respected organization and their
annual meeting is one of the most prestigious
in the industry. With the strong analytical
presence we now have, we appreciate this
opportunity to make a contribution at AAPS
by exhibiting and sharing some recent research
conducted by our analytical team.”
The pledge MPI Research has made to quality,
timeliness, and continual improvement in
its research efforts has not gone unnoticed.
Because of increased demands for scientific
expertise and a broad scope of services,
MPI Research is upgrading and expanding
its facilities on the 130-acre Michigan
site as well as at the State College (formerly
Exygen Research) facility. Yet at MPI Research,
the service commitment goes beyond the
state-of-the-art facilities and innovative
processes. The company values results,
and its team of 1,200+ employees of veterinarians,
scientists, and technicians is known for
proactive problem-solving. MPI Research
is proud of its reputation as being the
best in its field.
